Replace the words in brackets by the correct personal pronouns. Note that Sue is the person speaking. The (*) means that you are asked a question.


My name is Sue. (Sue)__________ am English. And this is my family. My mum's name is Angie. (Angie)__________ is from Germany. Bob is my dad. (My dad)__________ is a waiter. On the left you can see Simon. (Simon)___________ is my brother. (Sue and Simon)_____________ are twins. Our dog is a girl, Judy. (Judy)__________ is two years old. (Sue, Simon, Angie and Bob)____________ live in Canterbury. (Canterbury)_______________ is not far from London. My grandparents live in London. (My grandparents)____________ often come and see us. What can(*) ____________ tell me about your family?

Answers:
My name is Sue. I(Note that Sue is speaking, so 'Sue' has to be replaced by 'I'.)
am English. And this is my family. My mum's name is Angie. She is from Germany. Bob is my dad. He is a waiter. On the left you can see Simon. He is my brother. We(Note that Sue is speaking, so you need to fill in 'we'.)
are twins. Our dog is a girl, Judy. She(In this case we know that Judy is a female dog, so we use 'she'. If we don't know, however, whether an animal is male or female, we use 'it'.)
is two years old. We(Note that Sue is speaking, so you need to fill in 'we'.)
live in Canterbury. It(Use 'it' for places.)
